My lolita transformation -

So,  everyone from this fashion has to start from somewhere.
Unfortunately I wasn't the cutest dressed lolita in the beginning, but I seriously feel like I've
gotten this fashion FINALLY down.

When I first heard about lolita fashion, It was... sophmore year of high school.
I've always kinda had fruits vol. books and I always loved japanese street fashion in general.

When I first went to anime expo a couple years ago, there was a stand that sold bodyline
(for WAY too expensive might I add) and my boyfriend for my birthday bought me my very first lolita dress.

I still have it and it's pretty cute.... but not for 80 dollars!!!

Luckily, I found out later that I could have bought this from bodyline way cheaper, before
I bought from that guy again. This was the only lolita dress I owned, and I would usually wear
it without a blouse, and with a dinky leg ave petticoat.

also for anime expo, I thought pairing it with a pastel lavender and pink wig would be a
match. *facepalm*

aaand now drumroll please,

luckily for me this is the only photo I took the whole time because I had so much fun LOL

I just haate the way pastels look on me and that wig wasn't doing me any favors :<

My next lolita outfit wasn't much better but at least I attempted color cordination!
It was very last minute considering I had bought the putanmayo skirt from AX the following day.
and I was hankering to wear that sucker.

the photos so dark it looks like im floatingg hurrhurr

So, again I had more to work on.
My next couple coord, were getting slowly better.

Finally, I was starting to get a hang of things.

Finally, I was starting to become confident in wearing that fashion and understand
what I liked and what worked well together.

Here are some of my very latest coords;

So these are my lastest coord, I finally know the colors I really like.
(Lavender, mints, and browns)

I still have much to work on, but I finally feel like I'm a real lolita.

Thanks for reading, guys!

New purchases -

Hi there everyone! Just wanted to get my blog moving again <3
So christmas is coming up, and I've literally been working my booty off at work.

So.. I was able to finally put the down payment on my very first brand dress! EEE!

Angelic pretty Fortissimo JSK!

It's so lovely!! I just love the colors and how simple and pretty it is.
It's just adorable. Plus! I was able to haggle with the girl who was selling it and
I got it for a great deal for it!

I also purchased a DOL replica of Little Bears Cafe Jsk.

GUH BEARS R KEWT

Now, usually I'm not a huge fan of replicas. There's always the replica debate,
and I personally believe people can wear whatever they like, I won't judge them for it.

But I just have to say, DOL makes pretty nice replicas.
(Of course they aren't as great as brand, but they like bodyline quality nice)
I own their Wondercookie replica I bought from a friend, and I absolutely adore it.
The print is barely fuzzy and the dress is so comfortable. The only bummer, is I'm just not a big waist
tie kind of girl. They hurt my back,  I can never quite tie them right, I just prefer to not have them at all. hahah.

The only thing I'm nervous about is that it's a high waisted jsk.
Not sure it's the most flattering thing, but I figure the print would be worth it.

why forever 21 is amaze

Hey guys!
So I literally just received a huge forever 21 haul because of the black friday deals they had.
Omg. It was literally 10 dollars for bags and 5 dollar blouses.
So I got really lucky and was able to get TONS OF AWESOME STUFF.

(me after I first opened the boxes)

(In my opinion) forever 21 literally has a crap ton of perfect accessories for lolita fashion.
Georgette blouses, peter pan collars, and even just straight collars blouses are all over the site,
especially since they are considered "trendy" right now. *confetti*

Usually in spring is when they bring out all their pastel stuff, so for winter it's mostly darker prints,
but lately they have had lots of mint stuff too. c:

Here are some of the purses I received.  I'm totally in love with both the black and taupe one,
they are absolutely perfect for school and can actually fit a folder inside!
I also got a dusty pink purse that actually looks rather nice with my pink strawberry bodyline jsk
(which in the past has been a total pain to coord)

Also! I just received my new bodyline jsk, musical animals in a pretty deep red color.
It's SO Darling. I adore it!

The only bummer about this dress is the cut, it's quite strange. You can't wear a bellshaped petti with it at all,
but unfortunately a A line petti also looks a bit off with it. This was something I had already considered purchasing
the jsk, I may just go without a petti or perhaps a really light one.

I understand petticoats are a huge foundation for lolita fashion, so I might have to put this in a more otome catagory.
I really enjoy having flexibility when it comes to japanese fashion, so I'm not too much a stickler when it comes to the rules of lolita. I think that they are very important to get a good idea of what the fashion entails though.

Anyways, here are some more blouses (I literally got for 5 dollars each!)

this one has cute little owls on them c:

a bit hard to see, but its all black, with gold metal tips on the collar.
I know it would look great with the red bodyline jsk also c:

Really washed out photo, but it's actually a really nice mint color and actually
really pretty lace on the collar.

I am totally stoked with all these new blouses and bags to coordinate my future outfits!
Now if only I had the time to actually go to some meetups!

Luckily, school ends in about a week and I do have a date with a couple friends to go to
disneyland! Perhaps I could dress up then.

That's all for now! Thanks for reading!

(p.s once I have enough posts, I'm going to be joining the lolita carnival blogs!
fiiinallly hahah)
